1 Week Menstruation, 1 Week Later Bleeding Again
HealthReplies.com, I’m Arlin, 25 years old and was married last October. Want to ask the doc, on March 21 last I menstruated, finished on March 26. On March 31, I bled again, the color like mens blood. My previous menstrual cycle was regularly 21 days and my period was 5-7 days. This is the first time I’ve experienced it and I don’t feel stomach pain or low back pain. But from March 31 until now I still bleed, but not too much. What did I experience dock? Thanks.
Good evening Arlin, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Menstruation normally occurs for 3-7 days and recurs within 21-35 days later. In conditions where your period is outside the provisions or not as usual, then this can be said to be irregular menstruation and can occur due to various things, such as:
Stress or mental stress
Currently in a diet program
Consume too much oily and fatty food
Sports are too extreme
Overweight or underweight
Body weight goes up and down too dramatically
Smoking both active and passive
Exhaustion or too much activity
Lack of sleep
Using hormonal contraception
Thyroid hormone disorders
Female hormonal disorders
So the possibilities are indeed varied, ranging from just lack of sleep, stress or a lot of thoughts, until there are certain physical illnesses that you experience. To this, try to improve your lifestyle first with adequate rest, meet the needs of fluids, increase the consumption of fruits and vegetables, exercise regularly, avoid smoking, and maintain ideal body weight.
If indeed there is no change even though you have sought a healthy lifestyle, or moreover there are certain symptoms that interfere, consult your obstetrician to find out through a series of history digging, physical examination and support, what is the best diagnosis and treatment for you. So, hopefully answering your question.
