1 Year Olds Can’t Sit Yet?

Good morning. I want to ask, my child is 1 year old but how come I haven’t been able to sit, huh? When the ankle is healthy, grow up to 8 teeth. Imitating what we say is also fast. I wonder why?

Hi Mastika,

Growth and development of children is certainly a priority for parents. Development is a process of increasing abilities that are qualitative (can be assessed, can not be measured), for example is the ability to stand, walk or talk. In general, child development is divided into several things, namely:

Coarse motor Fine motor skills Social language Language Sitting without a handle is an ability that is generally mastered by most 7-month-old children. Even though the development is delayed, it does not mean that the condition must be caused by a disturbance. Developmental delays can also be caused by conditions and lack of opportunities to try so that further checks need to be done to ascertain the causes of developmental delays so that appropriate handling can be done. In this regard you should consult directly with a pediatrician to ensure that your child's growth and development process is going well.
