2 Months Late Menstruation And Negative Testpack Results?
u YANTI. I haven’t had my period for 2 months. I’ve used TP but it’s negative. I’m 45 years old. I just have 1 son.
Hello Mrs. Yanti
Disorders that occur in the menstrual cycle can be caused by various conditions. The condition you are experiencing is still categorized as oligomenorrhea, which is the absence of menstruation for >37 days, but still <90 days. If there is no menstruation for more than 90 days, the condition is called amenorrhea. The pack test is a method of examining the B-hCG hormone detected in urine. B-hCG can be elevated and detectable in the urine in some conditions such as pregnancy, pregnancy or malignancy. A negative test indicates no B-hCG hormone in the urine.
Some of the possible causes for your condition are:
Hormonal disturbances Contraceptive use Due to chronic diseases such as diabetes or hypothyroidism Nutritional deficiencies Polycystic ovary syndrome, and others
To find out your condition, it's a good idea to check with your doctor, especially a gynecologist. Where it is necessary to extract your history in more detail, direct examination and if needed additional examinations such as ultrasound or blood tests will be carried out. Later therapy will be adjusted to the condition that underlies your complaint.
What you can do in the meantime:
Eat a balanced diet Drink enough water at least 2L/day Regular exercise Enough rest 6-8 hours/day Stress management
If the complaint persists, accompanied by other symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or amenorrhea, you should immediately see a doctor.
I hope this helps.
