2 Months Pregnant With No Fetus.?
I am a 4-dimensional ultrasound of the womb at 6 weeks 2 days but there is still no fetus, there is only the sac … is it a healthy pregnancy?
4D ultrasound can see the fetus more clearly and can produce moving images like video. However, in early pregnancy, often the fetus is not visible and only appears to thicken the uterine wall or the fetal sac / sac is visible when the gestational age is greater.
Usually the obstetrician will recommend a repeat ultrasound 2-4 weeks afterwards to see the development of the fetus. The fetus generally begins to appear on ultrasound examination from the age of 6-10 weeks. If at the age of 6 weeks the fetus has not yet appeared, doctors can suspect the existence of a blighted ovum / empty pregnancy, but it will still be monitored first in the next few weeks. Blighted ovum / BO will be established if the sac of pregnancy is more than 25 mm in size but the fetus is not yet visible.
Thus, for now you don't need to worry first. Continue to think positive, avoid stress, and meet the nutritional needs and daily fluids of pregnant women so that the growth and development of the fetus remain healthy. You should control with an obstetrician on a predetermined schedule so that your fetal development can be monitored.
Hope it helps you,
