A 1 Month Old Baby Breathe A Lamp Lamp Smoke?
Night. I want to ask. My baby is just over 1 month old. Yesterday at my place the lights went out. Then I turned on the lamp. And but it turns out the lamp emits a lot of smoke until the floor of the house is dirty. And that we only realized 2 hours later, immediately turned off the lamp. My question. whether my baby is okay has been inhaled even with a short tempo. And what must be done so that the baby remains healthy.
Good evening, thanks for the question
Exposure to smoke pollution in the air directly on babies is certainly not good for baby's health in general. Air pollution fumes can come from vehicle fumes, industrial pollutants, or open burning. Long-term exposure to pollution fumes can cause:
1. Cough and irritation of the throat and lungs
2. Worsening asthma symptoms
3. Difficulty breathing and irreversible lung damage
Keep in mind that pollutant fumes can have different effects on each person, where in some people can be more at risk of respiratory problems. Especially if there is a history of asthma in the family so that children have the same tendency then they should be more aware of pollution fumes. If the child appears congested, coughing, or other respiratory problems, you should consult further with your pediatrician. Avoid similar smoke exposure in children, especially for long periods.
That's all, hope you can help
