A 6 Month Old Baby Cannot Lie Back Down On His Stomach?
Hello goodnight😊I want to ask about my baby’s problem ,, my baby is currently 6 years old, he can lie on his stomach since the age of 3 months, but can not roll until now. roll over ?? Should there be a SPA doctor’s treatment ?? Please answer, thank you😊
Thank you for the question.
There are several aspects of a child's development according to his age, namely social / emotional aspects, communication, cognitive (ways of thinking, learning, problem solving), and physical (movement). The following are stages of a child's development at the age of 6 months:
Responds when called name
Start making the sound "ah, uh, oh"
Start responding by making a sound, or giving a happy expression
Already starting to recognize family, strangers
Respond to other people's expressions with a smile
Began to see objects around
Start to put objects in the mouth
Starting to be curious about the objects around and try to grab it
Turning from your stomach
Start sitting without help
Start trying to stand up
It takes a delay in children's development on two or more of two aspects (communication, social, cognitive, and physical) to be categorized as a Global Developmental Delay or delay in child development. If the child cannot roll but can sit or stand, there is no need to worry. However, to be more sure you can consult a pediatrician who will examine the stage of child development using instruments such as Denver II, or others.
Hopefully this information helps ...
