A Good Diet When Dieting?
Good morning. I am 19 years old, my weight is 61kg with a height of 155cm, I want to undergo a diet program but I’m confused if I want to have breakfast with what? Usually I like to buy chicken porridge, but he said it can’t be because we can get hungry quickly and we may want to eat all the time. If you eat chicken porridge but don’t eat again until lunchtime, can you? Please advise, I want my weight to drop.
Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com,
For weight loss programs, one factor that needs to be considered is to use the Body Mass Index (BMI). To measure your BMI now, you can use the formula weight in kilograms divided by height in meters in squared. If you have a body weight of 61 kg with a height of 1.55 meters, your BMI stands at 25.39. Based on its value, the body mass index is divided into 4 categories, namely:
Weight too low: Less than 18.5.
Normal: 18.5 to 22.9.
Excess body weight: 23 to 24.9.
Obesity level I: 25 to 29.9.
Level II obesity: 30 to 37.4.
Morbid obesity: 37.5 or more.
To overcome this condition, please note that you must change your lifestyle and a healthy diet that can be maintained for a long period of time. It is not recommended to go on an extreme diet just to lose weight temporarily. There are several recommendations to be able to maintain a good diet and life, including:
Perform calculations of the calorie needs that you need.
Keep a record of the food you consume on a daily basis.
It's best to eat foods that you prepare yourself, so they don't reach excess calories.
Perform physical activities such as sports to burn excessive calorie buildup, as well as for body fitness and improving mood.
Eat lots of vegetables and fruits to stop hunger.
If you find it difficult to adjust your diet or a good diet plan, it is advisable to consult a nutritionist for a diet plan that suits your needs. In general, maintain a regular diet, but replace high-calorie sources with low calories. Also adjust your diet with your daily activities, avoid changing your diet to the extreme and sudden so that it disrupts your daily activities.
Hopefully this information can help you,
