A Lump In The Armpit That Feels Painful When Pressed?
Hello, I have a lump in the armpit. I just realized 2 weeks ago. Initially, if pressed, it doesn’t feel anything just like fat that collects in the armpit area, but because I often hold it, it feels a little painful. The lump is quite large, is this dangerous? Thank you
Hello, thank you for asking with HealthReplies.com.
Armpit lumps can be caused by a variety of things, including:
- bacterial infection
- viral infection
- Lipoma / fat lump
- Fibroadenoma / FAM
- and others.
To find out more about the cause, you should do an examination with a doctor. So that doctors can conduct interviews and several examinations to find out the cause of your complaint. The doctor will also provide appropriate treatment, if needed, the doctor will refer you to a surgeon.
Here's what you can do at home: avoid allergy triggers if you have allergies, avoid using tight clothing, avoid smoking and alcohol consumption, increase fruit and vegetable consumption, get enough rest, manage stress well, and exercise regularly.
