A Lump In The Throat For Several Months And Often Belching?
I want to ask. It has been a few months that I have a lump in my throat, always burp and I feel a lot of mucus in my throat and nasal passages but I can’t get it out. I also often find it difficult to breathe because of all of that and it is not uncommon for me to feel pain around the neck. If you may know what is wrong with me? Explanation please. thank you
The mucus in the respiratory tract and throat acts as a barrier so that foreign objects or bacteria enter the deeper channels (to the more important organs). The mucus production will increase in number if there is infection, inflammation, or, an allergic reaction or irritation.
So that what can be considered are:
Cough or flu
Exposure to smoke (be it cigarette smoke, vehicle fumes, or industrial fumes)
Acid reflux disease, which is high stomach acid and is accompanied by stomach valve disorders that eventually irritates the esophagus and throat. Besides that, other symptoms of acid reflux disease are a bitter taste of the tongue, belching, and pain in the gut
Mila is expected to see a doctor, because it is difficult to be able to confirm a disease just from her complaints, doctors still need to carry out medical examinations ranging from the simplest (physical examination) to supporting examinations (blood test, sputum test, x-rays, etc.) .
Some of the following suggestions can Mila try to do to reduce existing complaints
Eat regularly 3 times a day, and try not to eat too late.
Also avoid spicy and sour foods, and foods / drinks that contain caffeine
Use a mask when traveling to public places that are exposed to dust and smoke
If smoking is advised to stop smoking, if smoking Mila is expected to avoid exposure to cigarette smoke
Consume a balanced nutritious diet, and drink about 8 glasses of water / day
