The appearance of rashes on the skin as if bitten off accompanied by itching in the arm area can occur due to the following conditions:
Skin infections, for example due to fungi, viruses, bacteria
Allergic contact dermatitis (inflammation of the skin due to an allergy to certain substances in contact with the skin, for example soap, shampoo, certain towels or clothing)
Insect or other animal bites
Atopic dermatitis (chronic skin inflammation due to atopic tendencies, often occurs in people with asthma and allergic rhinitis)
Irritant contact dermatitis (skin inflammation due to contact with an irritating substance)
Excessive skin stress
Others, such as psychological stress, drug side effects, food allergies, cold allergies
When judging from the type of medicine the doctor has given you, the doctor may suspect that your complaint is related to inflammation due to a bacterial infection. However, it is the doctor who examines you who knows exactly what happened to you.
Therefore, our advice, you first take the treatment as recommended by the doctor. Avoid scratching excessively the bumpy skin. Also avoid using clothes that are too tight and made from harsh materials. Make it a habit to shower regularly in the morning and evening, use a non-irritating and hypoallergenic soap, do not rub the skin excessively when drying yourself after a shower, and make sure your body is completely dry before dressing. Do not forget, avoid contact with substances that might trigger allergies or irritation on your skin. Avoid stress or excessive anxiety and also avoid taking drugs carelessly. As long as you do not have allergies to certain foods, there are no foods that are absolutely prohibited for you to consume. However, if a rash appears accompanied by a very annoying itch, you should first limit your consumption of seafood, eggs, and nuts so that the itching doesn't get worse.
If the complaint still does not improve after 1 to 3 days of undergoing treatment from a doctor, do not hesitate to go back to a dermatologist for further treatment.
I hope this helps.
