A Small Lump In The Thigh With Pain?

Hello, I have a small lump on my thigh that suddenly appeared, it felt excruciatingly painful, after the morning I saw the lump festering now, but as I recall there was never a wound and the lump and pus appeared with itself, now pus it broke and thank God the pain disappeared, but this lump is not in the form of boils, my question is, what is the cause of this? And how to overcome it so that it dries quickly?

Hello Windiy,

Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.

A small lump in the thigh that feels painful usually indicates an infection. Not only boils, it can also be a lump that you experience due to shingles, abscesses, impetigo, or other skin conditions that are infected secondary to bacteria (such as benign or malignant tumors, contact dermatitis, insect bite marks, etc.).

If this lump has broken on its own without leaving a meaningful complaint, often this condition is not dangerous. However, if these lumps do not go flat in a long time, it is better you continue to check directly to the doctor or dermatologist to be given the right treatment.

For now, you better not hold, squeeze, let alone pick out lumps that appear carelessly. Always keep your skin clean, such as bathing regularly, change clean clothes regularly, and do not carelessly exchange personal belongings with others. Also avoid carelessly giving medication to the lump that appears without direct advice from a doctor.

Hope this helps ...
