, why my eyes suddenly have a very small lump about 1-2mm but it hurts. Is it because an insect bites when I sleep? Or is it something else? And what medicine is safe for the lower eye oil glands ??? I am afraid that the wrong ointment is actually dangerous for my eyes .. thank you ..

1 Answer:

Hello Ryu662,

Lumps on the eyelids can be caused by several causes, one of which is stye, kalazion, or inflammation of the eyelids. The stye itself can arise as a result of an infection of the eyelid which clogs the gland in the eyelid. This can be triggered by the use of cosmetics, use of contact lenses, or due to contact with hands that are not clean or triggered by other causes.

Handling that can be done temporarily is to maintain eye hygiene, avoid using cosmetics, compress the eyes that appear bumps with warm water, avoid using contact lenses, wash hands before and after touching the eyes, and use pain relievers if necessary.

Check with your doctor or ophthalmologist to ascertain the cause and be given appropriate treatment, if it is caused by a bacterial infection, then antibiotics will be given both topical and oral medication.

May be useful,
