Abdominal Pain In The Upper Part Of The Belly Accompanied By Shortness Of Breath?
At night the doctor, I again got stomach acid from the chest to my stomach hurts so much for the breath also the pain feels tight. Sometimes it feels like it’s burping but it doesn’t even hurt my chest … I plan to drink sprite, usually when I drink sprite belawa, I can lose the pain. I think it’s dangerous not to get stomach acid when I drink soda. I have also discharged my stomach so it feels really cool. Please give me doctor’s info … thanks
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Gastric acid disease or also called GERD is a disease that arises because of the weakness of the gastroesophageal sphincter (the valve between the stomach and esophagus) that causes food and stomach acid to rise back into the upper gastrointestinal tract. Food and stomach acid that goes up again can cause symptoms such as:
burning sensation in the chest and chest pain
the release of food and stomach acid when belching
difficulty swallowing food
foreign body sensation in the throat
coughing and tightness in the chest
GERD sufferers are basically not advised to consume soft drinks because soft drinks can cause increased production of gas in the stomach which will worsen the condition of GERD. Soft drinks that contain caffeine are no longer recommended.
The following are some things that are recommended if you do have stomach acid disease or GERD:
Eat a little, but more often
Avoid eating too much or eating until it's too full
Avoid consuming foods that are too fatty, foods that are too sour and too spicy
Avoid consumption of alcohol, coffee, chocolate, or soft drinks
Avoid sleep after eating
When you sleep, use a higher cushion pad
If you have excess weight, lose weight
To help overcome your flatulence, you can compress your stomach with a warm compress or take a bath in warm water. If indeed your symptoms are very disturbing, consult your doctor so that further evaluation can be done.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
