About External And Internal Ear Infections?
In the afternoon, I want to ask what is meant by internal and external infectious diseases?
Hello Dianasni, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
In medicine itself, the terms external infection and internal infection are not used to describe a particular disease. The term external infection only describes the presence of infection (infection itself can be caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or parasites) on the outer skin only. Meanwhile, infection describes an infection in the deeper layers of the skin or in organs in the body. When used to describe an ear infection, the outer ear infection describes an infection in the ear canal in front of the eardrum, while an inner ear infection describes an infection in the cochlea of the ear to the back. In ear infections, there is also the term middle ear infection which describes an infection of the ear behind the eardrum to the front of the cochlea.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
