About Flushed Inner Lips?
I want to ask, so on Friday my lips suddenly became sprue, but the longer they widened, they didn’t just blush on the inner lip, why is that? I initially tried using betadin oabt mouthwash to cure but it didn’t seem like there was a reaction
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Normally, the color of the mucosa in the oral cavity, including the inner lip, is indeed red, due to the relatively thin layer and the number of superficial blood vessels located beneath it. Contact with hot, spicy, or irritating and allergic food or drinks due to improper use of dental and oral care products can also make the mucosa mucous red. As long as there are no other annoying complaints, for example itching, burning, swelling, sores, streaking, runny, festering, etc., often this condition is not dangerous.
Try to apply the following tips first to improve complaints:
Reduce the habit of consuming foods or drinks that are hot and spicy Limit also the excessive consumption of foods that are sticky and oily Avoid the habit of biting or sucking on the lips Diligently brush your teeth, clean between your teeth, then rinse with salt solution Do not use dental and oral care products that contain irritative substances ( including toothpaste, mouthwash, cosmetics) Drink and eat more fruits Do not talk too much However, if you find other complaints that are quite disturbing as mentioned above, then you should be vigilant. It is feared, in addition to mild conditions, your complaints can also indicate the presence of fungal infections, viruses, or other microorganisms, irritation, lack of certain vitamins or minerals, and so on. In conditions like this, you should go to see your doctor directly, a dermatologist, or ENT specialist to be given the best solution for your condition.
I hope this helps.
