Acne Face After Using A Natural Face Mask?
in the afternoon, Doctor.rnrnI have oily skin type and like to appear small pimples (breakouts) on my forehead. I tried to take care of my facial skin by using a natural mask with lime, which based on the articles I read, lime has many benefits for facial skin, one of which is getting rid of acne. So I tried to use the mask at night and left it on until the morning, but that morning I found that a pimple was growing near my nose. Leave the mask on overnight is it wrong or is the way the lime works to remove dirt on the face (detoxification) then I can finally feel the benefits (clean face free of acne)?rnrnPlease explain, thank you 🙂
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Many literatures mention that lime contains a lot of alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) which plays a role in helping to open clogged pores. This can be used to help overcome various complaints on the skin, one of which is acne. At the beginning of the period of use, it is true, the use of lime can trigger the appearance of acne and breakouts. This happens because the pores are open, causing the forerunner of acne that was previously still under the skin to come out and look worse. However, in fact, this will be followed by skin repair afterwards.
However, you should also know that although the content is good, not everyone is suitable for using lime to treat acne. Most experts argue that consuming whole limes, for example by squeezing, actually has greater benefits than applying it directly to the skin. Because, in some people who are sensitive, the application of lime actually has the potential to cause irritation so that acne will get worse. Therefore, before using any facial treatment (including natural treatments such as lime), you should first check your skin tips with a dermatologist.
In the meantime, try to do the following tips first to resolve your complaint:
Avoid squeezing or picking pimples forcibly
Wash your hands regularly
Clean your face 2 times a day with a special anti-acne soap
Wear sunscreen when in the sun
Don't let the skin be exposed to excessive pollution
Sleep regularly and drink lots of water, eat vegetables and fruits
However, if the complaint does not improve within 1 or 2 months, you should stop using lime first and check your complaint with a doctor.
Hope it helps ya..
