Hello, good afternoon. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com
Menstruation is a hormonal cycle that occurs the decay of the lining of the wall in the uterus every 28-35 days with a duration of about 5-8 days. If there is bleeding outside it can be referred to as abnormal bleeding or with the term abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB). This can be a sign of several conditions viz
Hormonal disorders that can occur due to an imbalance of reproductive hormones namely estrogen, progesterone, LH and FSH.
Tumors of the uterus or ovaries
Polyps or small lumps in the cervix
Cysts in the lining of the uterus
To see this condition, it is better to do a physical examination by a doctor especially an obstetrician so that it can then be estimated the cause of the condition that is experienced or need to be carried out supporting tests such as hormonal examination, imaging examination or cell taking.
HSG examination (hysterosalfingraphy) is an imaging examination to see the condition of the uterus and its surroundings that uses contrast. The bias is used to see the shape, foreign body, or tumor that usually has symptoms such as difficulty in having children (infertility).
While papsemar is an examination by taking cells in the cervix. Usually used to see the condition of cervical or cervical cancer. It is recommended to be carried out routinely at the age of 30 to 65 years so that it can be detected early if there is a suspicion of malignancy and can be treated in the initial phase.
That's the thing we can say. May be useful. Thank you
