I want to ask, in my hind section there is hookworm, what medicine is suitable to cure it? And I already tried taking abendazole for 3 days but it didn’t improve either? THANKS.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
First of all, I want to confirm first, do you mean that there is hookworm on your waist is there is a worm infection on the skin (cutaneous larva migrans)? Did you really do an examination to a dermatologist and the diagnosis did you get from your dermatologist? Do you get Albendazole therapy from your dermatologist too?
Besides being able to infect the digestive tract, hookworm can indeed infect the skin as well. However, the diagnosis of an abnormality in the skin can only be made by a doctor who examines you directly, you are not expected to make your own diagnosis or use drugs that include hard drugs (such as albendazole) yourself without checking yourself to the doctor first.
If indeed you have been taking Albendazole for 3 days and the rash on your skin has not improved, then maybe the lesions on your skin are not caused by hookworm infection in the skin. We recommend that you do an examination to a dermatologist first to find out the exact diagnosis and so that treatment can be given more in accordance with the cause of your rash. Once again, avoid using drugs that are classified as hard drugs (drugs with a red circle label) without checking a doctor first.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
