Am I Sick?
Hello dock, I live alone. And when I sleep, my TV is on. But when I woke up the TV was already dead. I don’t remember ever waking up to turn off the TV. Also I set my alarm on my cell at 04.59, 05.00, and 05.07. Usually I will wake up and remember if I wake up to turn off the alarm. But this morning it was not. If I miss an alarm, a notification will appear that I missed the alarm, where the absence of a notification on my cell means that I wake up to turn off my alarm, but I don’t remember ever waking up to turn off my alarm. Is that normal doc?
Hello Ms. S, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself, Dr. Rio will answer the questions you have.
Based on the story you convey, there are several possibilities that you can experience, namely:
This happens because you are very tired, so that your sleep will be too deep.
Somnabulism (sleepwalking) is a recurring condition in which a person wakes up, walks, or performs various activities while sleeping.
Both of these possibilities are very likely to happen to you. But you don't worry too much. You can evaluate the complaint, if it's not repeated or not so disturbing it is not a serious problem. But if you feel disturbed, and complaints continue to occur, then I suggest you to consult a psychiatrist.
Right now what you can do is:
Get enough rest, sleep 7-8 hours per day.
For a while you can limit your activities.
Eat nutritious food.
Avoid stress, or over-thinking.
If you are burdened with a problem, as much as possible face the problem, or you can not afford you can tell the people closest to you.
That's all the answers I can give, thank you very much :)
