An 8 Month Old Baby Suddenly Becomes Helpless?
Good night, I have a baby aged 8 months, lately my child has suddenly become limp several times while on activities. For example again sitting while playing suddenly looks limp as if fainting, and difficulty breathing. And it lasts for about 2 to 3 minutes, then the child becomes active and cheerful again. I wonder why ? I am very afraid to see it when it happens even if only briefly … Please answer, thank you

We understand the concerns that you feel.
Based on the information you give, there are various kinds of possible problems that can be the cause of complaints in your baby.
Some possibilities that can be the cause of your baby's body often appear weak from non-serious causes such as fatigue, lack of fluid intake or dehydration, lack of nutrition, to serious causes such as congenital heart abnormalities, blood disorders or anemia, metabolic disorders such as hypoglycemia (decreased blood sugar levels) due to diabetes in children.
All of these possibilities must be re-evaluated to find out the exact cause, by conducting an examination directly to the nearest doctor or child specialist. The doctor will conduct a direct, thorough examination, assessing your baby's physical condition until a series of other examinations are needed such as blood laboratories, ultrasound, x-rays to CT scans.
During the home give the child enough nutrients and fluids that are adjusted to his age. Give children the right stimulation in accordance with the development of his current age. Arrange time off and play with children so they are not too tired. Adequate sleep is also important for the development and growth of infants.
