An Uncomfortable Feeling When Looking At Something That Is Irregular Or Symmetrical?
, I’d like to ask. Why is it that when I see something that is not neat, irregular or not symmetrical, I feel uncomfortable, uncomfortable, and want to tidy it up immediately. Is this actually a disease or not?
Hi Adityawosh.. Thank you for the question.
The feelings you describe can be caused by:
Perfectionist personality -- perfectionist people always try to make everything perfect and have high standards of doing things. Perfectionists will try to do everything in an orderly manner and try to improve things according to their standards.
OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) -- called obsessive compulsive because the sufferer has obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. Obsessive thoughts are unreasonable feelings and thoughts, while compulsive behaviors are repetitive behaviors. So that people with OCD will feel uneasy and worried if they do not do something (eg wash their hands, lock the door) so that it is done repeatedly.
If you experience any of the above symptoms, you can consult a psychiatrist. The doctor will conduct a physical examination and interview about the course of your illness and provide counseling, behavioral therapy, and accompanied by medication.
Hope it is useful
