Anatomy Of The Hymen Or Hymen?
Before, I already knew what the definition of virgin was and this question only wanted to get to know my body more deeply. I was curious about the shape of my hymen, and I never put anything in my vagina, only oral sex and even then it never bled because of tearing (as people say). When examining the shape of my hymen, I only saw a thin pink membrane more white but did not see the vaginal opening. Is what I see Hymen? I see a lot of pictures of hymen whose vaginal opening is in the middle of whatever shape, but I feel like I have it under the hymen. Or I see wrong? Or is my hymen torn? thanks. Once again I ask this because I’m curious about my own body.
Hello Rara, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Hymen or hymen is a thin membrane located in the lower part of the vagina where the membrane generally has a small hole as a discharge from menstrual blood, and the shape of the hymen hole varies greatly depending on each individual.
To see the membrane itself is quite difficult and if you do not know the anatomy clearly there can be misperceptions, so if indeed you want to know the condition of your hymen if it is still intact or has been torn (where it does not have to occur because of intimate relationships), you can consult and check it further to a general practitioner or an obstetrician.
I hope this helps.
