Anxiety, Restlessness, Trembling, And Shortness Of Breath After Coffee Consumption?
Hello, I’m Alfi 19th. I want to ask. This afternoon I suddenly felt anxious, restless, trembling, and a little short of breath. Even though I wasn’t worried about something. I feel this is happening because this morning I drank coffee on an empty stomach. But things like that are not the first time I have done it and have never felt this way. Are there any symptoms and medical problems causing me like this or is this problem just caused by coffee?
Hello Alfi! Thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Anxiety, anxiety, trembling, and sudden shortness of breath may signal a panic attack. Panic attacks are severe anxiety attacks that occur suddenly without any trigger for events or feelings. Shortness of breath in panic attacks usually includes difficulty breathing and a sensation of suffocation. Apart from tightness and trembling, people with panic attacks may also experience cold sweat and pounding. The symptoms experienced during a panic attack occur due to excessive stimulation of the brain. These attacks usually last 2-10 minutes or can last up to 2 hours. If your symptoms persist or don't go away, you should see a doctor immediately. The doctor will see if there are physical problems or there are more severe psychological problems. Your doctor will determine the appropriate therapy for you after you have been examined. Apart from panic attacks, it is possible that other disorders, such as anxiety and adjustment disorders, can cause similar symptoms. If you experience these panic attacks frequently or are very troublesome, you should consult a psychiatrist or mental health specialist.
Coffee can indeed cause a fluttering, restless, and shaky taste. However, if you usually don't experience any symptoms when drinking coffee, the symptoms you are currently experiencing may not be due to the coffee you are consuming. However, you should first avoid consuming coffee because coffee consumption can cause the symptoms you are currently experiencing to be heavier.
So much information from me. I hope this helps.
