My complaints to my eyes certainly disturb my daily activities. Related to your complaints, eyes that feel red and hot can be caused by various factors, including:
The presence of foreign objects / chemicals that enter the eye
Eye infections, both due to viruses and bacteria
Dry eye is a term that indicates that the eye is in a less moist condition on its surface, therefore the tear glands will produce more tear fluid to reduce dryness in the eye lining. Dry eyes cause pain in the eyes, red eyes and lumps.
The presence of chemicals or foreign objects that enter the eye also causes increased tear production. Allergies can occur in the eyes, causing allergic reactions that make the eyes watery, reddish and itchy. Apart from dust, allergies can occur due to mites, animal dander, ambient temperature, food, etc. In addition, infection of the eye can also be one of the causes of eye disorders. Generally eye infections are contagious, either from one person to another or from the left eye to the right / vice versa.
If allergies are the cause of your eye complaints, then you should avoid exposure to allergens and consider taking antihistamines. Dry eyes can be treated with sterile artificial tear drops. Viral infections often do not require treatment, they only require tears. While bacterial infections must be given antibiotics.
Vitamin A is very useful for eye health, maintaining body resistance and as an antioxidant. Vitamin A can be easily obtained from meat, eggs, fish oil, dairy products, vegetables and reddish orange fruits. So much information that I can convey, hopefully it helps
