Appendix Scar Scars?
Morning, I want to ask. I became pregnant after 9 months of appendicitis. But my stitches are becoming keloid, do I have to have a cesarean delivery later? Thank you
Hello Lilik Kristi, thank you for asking with HealthReplies.com.
Keloid is scar tissue that occurs in the form of thick scars and can be accompanied by itching or pain. Generally keloids are related to genetic factors or are genetically inherited from both parents.
Appendectomy or appendectomy is done by removing the appendix that has an infection. In general, if complications do not occur during surgery it will not interfere with the reproductive organs. This is different if you have a history of cesarean section (SC) before, cesarean section will cause scarring in the uterus so it is advisable to re-perform cesarean section or if you want to try a normal birth should consult with your doctor or obstetrician.
Hopefully this information is useful for you.
