Approaching HPL And Already Feeling Signs Of Childbirth?
I estimate that I gave birth on June 17, Bri, June 9, when my stomach came out a brownish color from my genitals …. r n why is that ????
Hello Lindawati, Thank you for the question.
Estimated day of birth (HPL) can be estimated based on the first day of your last menstrual period (HPHT) or based on an ultrasound examination by a doctor. However, this HPL is only approximate and not binding. Or in other words, you can give birth earlier or later than this estimate. You can give birth when the gestational age is between 37-40 weeks.
How do you feel stomach pain? Abdominal pain caused by abdominal contractions is a sign of childbirth. You may begin to feel false contractions that are not as strong as the original contractions during labor. These false contractions last for 30-120 seconds, at irregular intervals, will disappear if you change positions, and can feel stomach pain in the abdomen or pelvis. You have to distinguish from the original contraction. The original contraction lasts 30-70 seconds which is not affected by changes in body position, is felt on the part of the back that moves to the abdomen, the intervals of the appearance of these contractions are regular and are getting shorter and stronger. Apart from contractions, other signs of childbirth are thick mucus mixed with blood from the vagina, ruptured chaff, difficulty sleeping, and an increased frequency of BAK.
Please monitor your stomach pain. You can try changing positions or taking a warm bath. If changing positions or taking a warm bath the stomach ache disappears then this is a false contraction but please continue to monitor these contractions. If this abdominal pain occurs regularly with the distance between the contractions getting shorter and stronger, please immediately check with the nearest hospital because labor may be imminent.
