Appropriate Action For Dry And Peeling Facial Skin?
Doctor, lately my face is dry and peeling. When I want to clean my face with a facial wash, I use lukewarm water and end with cold water then apply ice and moisturizer. Is that the right thing to do?
Peeling facial skin can be caused by various causes, including:
Prolonged exposure to sunlight Dry skin Allergies due to facial cleansing products or other allergens. Effects of certain drugs Inflammation of the skin or dermatitis. Facial infections. Therefore, pay attention to what conditions trigger skin peeling and avoid it. Some efforts that can be done to deal with peeling skin include:
Compress the skin with cold water Consume more fluids or white water Use a facial moisturizer after bathing Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and use sunscreen Use a mild facial cleanser and do not scrub your face too hard Avoid using hot water when washing your face If the above method does not improve condition, check your condition with your doctor or dermatologist to assess its condition and provide further treatment, either oral medicine or topical medication and other facial treatments needed.
