good afternoon dock. I want to ask, this morning my wife tested her pregnancy using a test, then the results were invalid. what does it mean invalid doc. tq.
Hello Ricki, Thank you for your question.
Testpack is the easiest pregnancy test to do. Testpack is used to detect the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) hormone that is formed when a woman is pregnant. This hormone is produced by the developing placenta and the amount will double every 48-72 hours. Testpack results show invalid results if a red line appears on the results but no red lines appear on the control or no red lines appear at all on the testpack tool. Consider the following picture:
An invalid testpack result can be caused by a number of conditions:
broken testpack tool
the urine volume being tested is too little
What your wife can do is repeat the testpack with a new device. Testpack should be used after there is a delay of menstruation for at least 1 week. If the first testpack results are negative, your wife can repeat the testpack the next 3 days to confirm the testpack results. Make sure your wife directly uses the newly opened testpack from the package and make sure the urine volume tested is sufficient in accordance with the recommendations on the package. If you are still unsure about the use and results of the testpack, please consult the closest general practitioner.
I hope this helps.
