Around The Shoulder Hurts?
Hello, I want to ask, lately my shoulder hurts like it cracks if you move it, then when I do activities, sometimes it hurts quickly and continues to heat, then when I sleep it hurts to the neck, sometimes it hurts like that, why?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Pain, soreness, and heat that feels dominant in the shoulder area can happen to anyone, not only the elderly. This condition often occurs related to deficiencies of certain vitamins or minerals that are important in supporting the function of muscles, nerves, bones and joints, including around the shoulders. Deficiency of these vitamins and minerals can be caused by an unhealthy diet, certain digestive disorders, and a variety of other factors. The vitamins and minerals in question include vitamin B1, vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium, vitamin B12, potassium, and so on.
Apart from that, other factors may trigger discomfort in your shoulders, for example:
Post-injury, for example those that cause fractures or fractures, dislocated joints, injured muscles or ligaments The spinal cord is pinched, for example due to herniation of the nuleus pulposus, spinal tumors, spinal infections Rheumatoid arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune disorders) peripheral nerve damage, often related to diabetes) Disorders of curvature of the spine, for example scoliosis, kyphosis Psychosomatic disorders (physical complaints that are triggered or exacerbated by psychological pressure), etc. Try to reduce the discomfort in your shoulders first by using an ice cube compress. Also rest the arm on the side of the shoulder that hurts from excessive activity, including lifting and pushing heavy objects, or doing other activities. Also avoid sleeping with the position on top of the sore shoulder. Take paracetamol so that the pain can get better. Finally, don't stress or worry too much.
By consistently making the above efforts, shoulder pain due to minor causes should improve within 1 to 3 days. However, if there is no improvement within 3 days, or if there is swelling, numbness, weakness, and various other complaints, you should see your doctor directly for further tests, including through X-rays, CT scans, or other supporting tests. if needed.
Hope it helps ..
