Basically a wound that is declared to be long healed if the wound does not heal after more than 12 weeks. Wounds that do not heal occur when the wound healing process is hampered. There are several factors that trigger the wound healing that is inhibited, including:
lack of oxygen due to poor blood circulation to the injured area.
the occurrence of bacterial infections in the wound, so that the wound becomes swollen, red and pus
diabetes or diabetes, the presence of diabetes decreases the function of healing wounds to the skin, because diabetes has complications in the circulation of blood and nerves.
Based on your complaint, it is likely to lead to bacterial infection, due to pus and sores that don't heal. Mild tetanus can occur except that tetanus germs are in objects such as rusty iron. If you are pricked by not rusty iron, it can lead to bacterial infection of the wound. Treatment must use antibiotics specifically an anerobic bacteria. And if by taking the drug there is still pus, it must be done a minor surgical process, such as an incision by a doctor.
