Ask For An Explanation?
I want to ask that the expiration date is printed on March 17, the expiration date is March 20. That number 17 is equal to 20 what month of the year? Thank you
Every food product, drink, or medicine has a proper date for consumption or expiration, however, every producer of a food, drink or medicine may have different writing methods.
In general, writing when an item is produced and when it has expired will be written in complete with date, month and year. However, each producer can do different writing such as writing with the arrangement of months-years but there are also those who write it with the arrangement of dates-years-years.
Whereas if there are only two information (months and numbers) as Sandi said, it means that the product was produced in March 2017 and is expected to be consumed before March 2020. So the information in March 2017 tells when the goods were produced, not the date yes expires, but in March 2020 the expiration date.
