good night doctor 🙂 The doctor knows Altecco glue / G glue / super glue etc. That’s quick dry, the question is if sticking to the skin is it dangerous or not?
Hello, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
Super glue contains a substance called cyanoacrylate, a chemical which has strong adhesive properties and dries quickly. Basically, when this material sticks to the skin, this material will not be absorbed and cause certain health problems. Even so, cyanoacrylate contact with the skin still has the potential to cause allergic reactions and skin irritation.
If it comes in contact with the skin, you can try to get rid of this glue by soaking the affected skin in warm water and scrubbing with soap. You can also use acetone (nail polish remover) to remove the glue from your skin. If this glue gets on your lips or eyes, you should immediately see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment. In general, the condition is not dangerous and the eye and lip adhesions can detach on their own within hours to several days.
So much information from me, hopefully it will be enough to answer
