At What Age Does You Change The Stages Of Formula Milk For Babies?
Tonight I want to ask, so I have a baby that’s close to 6 months and don’t drink Asi. At present my baby is still drinking milk powder stage 1 for ages 0-6 months, now to replace stage 2 aged 6-12 months, how many months should it start? the beginning of 6 months or the end of 6 months (7 months beginning)?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically there are no specific standards for when you should start changing formula to the next stage. The content in formula milk at each stage is not too much different, so you can start changing the stages whenever you want (at the beginning of the age of 6 months or before 7 months). If 0-6 months of formula milk is used up before the age of 6 months, you can just immediately replace it with 6-12 months of formula milk.
By the age of 6 months, you should also start focusing on providing complementary food for your child. Follow the stages of providing solid food for children according to your pediatrician's recommendations. You can also read the following link from IDAI (Indonesian Pediatrician Association) regarding the provision of MPASI for children.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
