Babies Aged 1 Month Belly Sounds And Vomiting Is Yellow?
Good morning, I want to ask my child 1 month old already 2 days, his stomach always sounds crutches .. crutches .. Continue, and this morning vomited issued a yellow color. I want to know the cause and anticipation, please respond, thank you.
Does your baby get exclusive breastfeeding or have got milk? Are there complaints about bowel movements (diarrhea or constipation)? Yellow vomiting in infants can be caused by the following conditions:
Vomiting in the form of stomach acid (usually experienced after vomiting several times so that the stomach is empty)
There is a blockage in the digestive tract
Gastroesophageal reflux disease
Infections of the digestive tract
Milk allergy or lactose intolerance
Apart from the cause of vomiting, what needs to be watched out for babies when vomiting is the possibility of aspiration / vomiting entering the airways until the baby chokes and difficulty breathing. It also needs to be aware of the possibility of dehydration / lack of fluids with signs of weakness, drowsiness, dry skin, crying without tears, rarely pee / urine slightly and concentrated, crown and sunken eyes.
If vomiting continues to recur, or the child is experiencing signs of dehydration, I suggest that you take your child to the nearest emergency room or to the doctor directly so that further tests can be done to determine the cause of vomiting. Furthermore, doctors will also provide more appropriate treatment, both with anti-emetic medication, fluid replacement, observation, and surgery in certain cases.
While waiting to see a doctor, you can do the following tips:
Give only ASI children
If forced to give formula milk, consult first with your pediatrician (babies under 1 year should consult a pediatrician before giving formula milk)
Burp the baby after drinking milk by gently patting his back in an upright position (head must be supported properly)
If the child vomits, tilt his head, or hold the arms in a position so as not to enter the respiratory tract
Monitor for signs of dehydration and watch for urine and feces
Hope it helps you,
