Babies Can See?
, my child is 45 years old but has not looked at me / front (if invited to talk / play / the dd fun playing alone) His eyes are always looked up and up Is that normal?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Babies are born with incomplete vision. In the early weeks of life, babies can only see objects that are close to their eyes and cannot see colors perfectly. In general, babies will begin making eye contact with the primary caregiver (mother or father) at the age of 6-8 weeks. The new baby's eyes can be fixed and follow an object when the baby is 3 months old. If your baby has not yet made eye contact with you, this can still be said to be normal.
Some things you can do include:
try to bring your face closer to the baby
invite baby to talk or sing while looking at your baby
do not expect babies at this age to be able to maintain eye contact for a long time, seeing your eyes in a short time is also included in eye contact and is normal for babies
If you don't make eye contact until 2 months of age, try to take the baby to the pediatrician for further evaluation.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
