Babies Look Yellow When Crying At Night?
Tonight .. I have a 3 month old child, these few days when I wake up because my child is crying, I always see my child’s face looks yellow, then I always love to hurry up, actually such conditions are dangerous or not?
Since when did the condition start happening? Yellow babies can be caused by jaundice, usually accompanied by other symptoms such as dark yellow urine, pale stools, weak babies, rarely crying, not wanting to drink, and fever.
Jaundice in babies can be related to the following conditions:
Disorders of the liver and bile: biliary atresia, cystic fibrosis, hepatitis
Viral and bacterial infections
Lack of certain enzymes
Baby's red blood cell abnormalities
Rhesus incompatibility in mother and baby
Disorders of the baby's digestive system
Are there any other complaints? To ascertain whether your baby's yellow is still within normal limits or not and to ascertain what the cause is, it requires a direct examination by a doctor. For that, I suggest that you take your child to the doctor so that you can be examined directly if necessary to do a blood test to confirm the condition yes. Furthermore, if a cause is found, the doctor can provide further treatment that is more appropriate for your baby.
While waiting to see the doctor, you can continue to breastfeed all the babies and more than usual and still pay attention to the condition of the baby's skin and eyeballs, urine, and stools.
Hope it helps you,
