Hi Mutia,
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Hard stools in babies are not always dangerous. In infants who have started consuming solid foods other than breast milk, it is very normal for the consistency of the stools that were soft or tend to be liquid to turn hard.
What you need to be aware of as constipation (constipation) is dangerous in babies is if your baby:
No bowel movements at all for 2 weeks or more
No bowel movements and no bowel movements for 2 days or more
Not defecating with flatulence, vomiting, abdominal pain, fussy baby, and the baby is lazy to eat and suckle
If none of the above warning signs occur to your child, then you can breathe a little easier. Try doing the following treatment steps to help smooth the digestive tract:
Give baby enough breast milk
Give the baby complementary foods with the amount, frequency, consistency, and type according to their age. For guidance on giving complementary foods to 6-month babies, you can read the following article.
Be active, invite the baby to play and move
Also give baby enough to drink after eating
Gently massage the baby's tummy after every bath in a clockwise circular motion
However, if you are worried because your baby's complaints are not getting better, try to check your child directly to a pediatrician so that the right treatment can be done.
I hope this helps.
