Baby’s Head Is Still Protruding At The Age Of 14 Months?

Since I was born, I have seen my baby’s head stick out. I’ve tried stroking with a little pressure on his head and bought various types of pillows up to the millions worth, still to no avail. What should I do at the age of 14 months now?

Hello,
Actually the shape of the baby's head will stay and will rarely be changed after the baby is 1 year old.
This is because the bones of the baby's head are fused together and are no longer flexible.
The shape of the head that is flat in babies is caused by medical problems, such as hydrocephalus and the condition of the skull bone plates fused too quickly (craniosyntosis). Both conditions will affect the baby's brain development and require immediate special medical treatment.
However, if the baby's head is not due to these two things, the shape of the baby's head is usually caused by the position of the baby's head when sleeping a lot on his back, the baby's sleeping position and the position of the baby's head when being carried.
Also make sure the baby's head circumference is appropriate for his age and growth. If you are really worried, do a direct consultation with a Pediatrician. The doctor will conduct a detailed medical examination and determine whether your baby's head condition requires treatment or not.
