Baby’s Heart Is Noisy?
Hello, my baby is 4 months old, his heart is noisy like there is a breeze, every beat of his heart ,?
Hello Nori Priasma,
The heart rate in babies normally beats faster than in adults where in 4-month-old babies can beat between 100-150 times per minute. At the time the heart beats will also be accompanied by the sound of breathing which in infants aged 4 months can have a breathing frequency of 30-55 times per minute. If you feel your baby's heart sounds are not like the sound of the heart in general, it's good to check your baby's condition with a pediatrician to determine the cause.
Some health problems can cause additional sounds in the child's heart sounds such as congenital heart disease which can occur among heart valve abnormalities, additional lung sounds due to infection, irregular heartbeat and other causes that need to be examined either physical examination or additional examinations such as X-rays, echocardiography and other tests needed. Later treatment will be adjusted to the cause. Note also whether there are other symptoms that arise in children such as difficulty breathing, children appear bluish, excessive sweating, especially when eating, weight loss or difficulty in gaining weight and check with your doctor immediately to determine the condition.
