Black Patches Around The Mouth That Appear During Menstruation?
have strange signs before menstruation. Such as patches that appear around my forehead, nose crease, and around my mouth. The symptoms are my skin is sore, itchy, irritated, peeling skin, and reddened… over time it turns black. This incident happened since I was in 2nd grade of junior high school, I’ve been to the doctor but the doctor only said that it was hormones, food allergies, and lack of water. I’ve done all the ways the doctor suggested but the result is still the same. I think this is very annoying..please tell me what’s wrong with my skin
Hi Clause Psychics. The condition you experience in general can be caused by:
1. Hormonal conditions that cause atopic eczema where until now there is no known explanation of how the mechanism occurs, but it is indeed found that some women before menstruation actually appear symptoms of this skin condition.
2. Autoimmune conditions in which the body's defense cells perceive hormones, in this case progesterone, as enemies, causing an allergic reaction to this hormone and causing skin inflammation.
3. neurodermatitis which is related to stress
Consult a dermatologist regarding your condition for treatment and further information. Physical examination can help where blood tests, allergy tests, hormonal tests can help if there is a doctor's suspicion. The thing you can do is avoid taking drugs or anything containing hormones until the doctor who examines them directly says otherwise. Hopefully helpful, and thank you. Regards, Dr Alyssa
