my nut is 16yrs. I have vasculitis. My feet when tired will appear red spots that hurt. But over time it disappears and the red spots turn black. How do you get rid of the black marks?

1 Answer:

Hi Nabila,

Inflammatory scars that cause hyperpigmentation/darker skin generally go away on their own within a few months. But before leaving it too long, you can try using a scar ointment/cream/gel that is sold in the market. Use those that have been registered with BPOM. This scar ointment is sold in pharmacies, and generally must be used regularly every day to give maximum results.

For best results, consult the blackened scars to a dermatologist / plastic surgeon. Methods of removing black marks other than with ointments can also be done with actions such as lasers, microdermabrasion, and so on. Don't forget to support efforts to remove scars by maintaining healthy skin and moisture by using sunscreen, moisturizer, and eating healthy, balanced nutrition.
