Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Rough black spots as well as itching on the feet are most commonly caused by skin infections. Some types of infections that can cause this complaint are folliculitis (hair follicle infection), tinea pedis (fungal infection), viruses, and so on. This infection is prone to occur if you don't keep your feet clean properly, for example because you rarely wash your feet, often do activities without footwear, often work in dirty areas, and so on.
It could also be that the dark spots you experience occur due to other causes, for example:
Contact dermatitis Keratosis pilaris Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation Lentigo Ephelides Melanoma Neurofibromatosis, etc. Not all of the above conditions need to be treated with laser therapy. For that, if you feel that there has been no improvement related to your condition after undergoing treatment to a doctor, you should check again with a dermatologist to get the best treatment.
Our suggestions in the meantime:
Do not remove freckles forcibly Bathing and washing your feet Protect your skin (including your feet) from direct sun exposure by using sunscreen. Do not smoke. Avoid giving random therapy to spots that appear except on the advice of a doctor. Hope it helps.
