Black Spots On The Lips That Appear After The Lips Are Bitten?
want to ask I have a black spot on the lower lip (the shape is small “o ” more or less like the letter o beside). before that I was indeed dehydrated and my teeth accidentally bit my lower lip until I finally bled. after a few days the flaky skin begins to reunite. but instead made a dark spot. what is black is blood. when i browse the case like venous lake and i see on youtube how to eliminate it with a laser. if in my case the same as venous lake. the question is how to get rid of the dark spots.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
The existence of black spots on the lips that appear after the lips are bitten may only be a hematoma (bruising) on the lips. If the black spots appear prominent then chances are what happens is a blood blister. Both of these conditions occur quite often after the occurrence of injury to the lips (lip injury due to an accident or because the lips are bitten). Venous lake is a different condition. Venous lake is a protrusion of small, purplish-blue skin that is painless or itchy that occurs in sun-exposed areas. This lesion is likely due to prolonged sun exposure which damages the walls of blood vessels near the skin.
Hematoma or blood blister in general will disappear by itself in a few weeks. If the black spots do not disappear within a few weeks, continue to experience bleeding or injury, or appear to be enlarged, you should consult a doctor so that further evaluation can be done.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
