Bleeding After Tooth Extraction?
, I want to ask. So yesterday the day after Monday at 8 pm I extracted the remaining tooth which only had the root left and the doctor stitched it up, the next day when I woke up the blood was no longer coming out and for one day there was no bleeding at all, but the next day there was bleeding again which is quite a lot and blood clots come out, I have tried using ice packs and biting on sterile gauze but it still bleeds with blood clots, how do I fix it so that the bleeding stops immediately?
Hi Pinkankrnw.. Thank you for the questions given.
In addition to bleeding, there may also be pain and swelling. Bleeding after tooth extraction is normal. Bleeding may occur and improve in about 1-2 days. If bleeding continues, pain, body becomes weak, swollen then you should return to the dentist who treats you again. What you can do:
Pressing the bleeding area with sterile gauze Compress with ice pack Mouthwash with antiseptic liquid Keep your teeth and mouth clean Do not touch the bleeding area or touch it with your tongue Avoid hard food Take vitamin C If accompanied by pain you can take paracetamol according to the dose Hopefully useful
