Hello. Good evening, Ms. Nurul. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com
Related to complaints of pain in the clitoral organs that you have accompanied by symptoms of bleeding and odorous discharge, it should be supplemented with some information related to when the pain appeared, whether the pain continues or only in certain situations such as conjugal relations, how the pattern of pain whether throbbing or feels hurt, if there are other symptoms such as fever, urination feels hot or incomplete or other symptoms that accompany, whether complaints are aggravated by something, whether there was a previous history of similarity, whether there is a history of other illnesses, whether there is a history of trauma during labor. Based on complaints of pain in the clitoris there are several diseases that may be the cause, viz.
- infection of the clitoris
- Inflammation of the clitoris due to exposure to substances / ingredients
Infection in the clitoris is an inflammatory process caused by viruses (such as herpes), bacteria (such as gonorrhea, chlamydia), or fungi. In this condition what happens is the clitoris area will experience red, swollen, feel hot, and feel pain. If the infection is left alone, it will further develop, causing the accumulation of substances produced by the pathogen, namely pus, in this condition often referred to as an abscess.
Inflammation in the clitoris is inflammation that is not caused by infection, often in the form of exposure to an irritant or allergenic substance for someone. In this condition, what usually appears is a red, swollen, palpable, painful area, but pus will rarely form pus, if any liquid is formed, it will usually be clearer.
Things that can be done at home is to maintain the hygiene of the genitals and reduce discomfort, namely the following are done
- Clean the genitals from front to back and then wipe with a dry cloth
- Change underwear and avoid using damp conditions
- Avoid using pants that are too tight or too hot
- Compress the clitoris with warm water to relieve
If it remains symptomatic and disturbs comfort, it can be consulted with an obstetrician so that nurses can be optimally provided. An emergency condition is when the pain feels very great, can not clean water.
