Bleeding During Menopause?
Menopause is a condition of natural cessation of menstruation. A woman is declared to have gone through menopause if she has not menstruated for at least 12 months. However, before menopause there will be changes in the menstrual cycle due to hormonal changes and this condition is also called perimenopause (the period around menopause). Even though you haven't menstruated for more than a year, you may just enter perimenopause and this is still normal because menopause normally occurs in the age range of 45-55 years.
If you have seen a doctor and stated that the condition is caused by normal menstruation, it is most likely so. If you are unsure or worried, you can discuss this with your doctor or ask other doctors for your opinion regarding your condition.
