Bleeding During Myoma And Endometriosis Cyst?
Hi, I am 31 years unmarried woman. Had a myoma of about 4cm and a cyst of about 4cm. My ob-gyn doctor who used to recommend a curettage because I’ve been bleeding for months but not much. But my current doctor doesn’t recommend it. I am currently taking Visanne, but my bleeding doesn’t stop even after I take Kalnex 500mg. Is it true that I have to be cured? Or hormone therapy alone can help stop the bleeding. to note until now the bleeding has been around 8 months. Thanks 🙂
Hello Andien, Thank you for your question on HealthReplies.com
Bleeding that occurs outside of your menstrual cycle, known as metrorrhargia, may be caused by:
hormonal imbalance; Myoma Ovarian cysts Pelvic inflammation Uterine polyps Endometriosis uterine or ovarian cancer Thickening of the uterine wall blood clotting disorders You should consult a gynecologist again, so that the cause can be identified with certainty. To find out the cause, the doctor will perform a physical examination on you, supporting examinations such as blood tests or abdominal ultrasound if needed. A curettage is an action taken by a SPOG doctor to remove tissue in the uterus caused by many things, such as abortion or miscarriage, thickening of the uterine wall or as a tissue examination tool for a biopsy, in general, curettage cannot be performed on women who are not married or pregnant, because the curettage can damage your hymen.
