Hello,

Hello!

Thank you for using the HealthReplies.com consulting service
Blood coming out of the nose or nosebleeds is bleeding from the nose that often occurs at the age of children and adults. The causes are various, including trauma when picking your nose like picking your nose, trauma due to collision with other blunt objects, sneezing too hard, air temperature that tends to dry, infection, the influence of drugs, blood clotting disorders, to cancer.
Inside the nose, there is a collection of blood vessels called the Kiesselbach plexus which is easily brittle when exposed to minor trauma. If broken, will cause anterior nosebleeds. Whereas if a nosebleeds occur in the nose / posterior nose, it generally occurs due to a certain disease such as high blood pressure, cancer, and abnormalities in the other inner nose.
While headaches can be triggered due to migraines, tension type headaches, infections such as sinusitis, trauma / head injury, fatigue factors, or due to tumors / cancer.
Nosebleeds accompanied by severe headaches can indicate a serious illness. But of course this requires detailed excavation of previous medical history and direct physical examination. Diseases such as high blood pressure, nasopharyngeal cancer, tumors in parts of the brain, can cause similar symptoms.
But other diseases such as allergic rhinitis, anemia, sinusitis, the effect of decongestant drugs and the effect of stress can also cause the same symptoms.
Therefore, more detailed information is needed regarding whether the symptoms are new to you, or have been felt before, if there are other complaints such as weakness in one part of the body, double vision or interference with vision, nausea, vomiting repeatedly, discomfort in the throat, nose and ears, ever seizures, often fainting / unconsciousness, pain in the cheeks, often sneezing or have a history of previous allergies, to frequent dizziness that is lost due to anemia or low hemoglobin levels. Women of childbearing age are prone to anemia from menstruation every month, or from frequent nosebleeds. Tests such as CT scan, blood laboratory, or MRI may be needed to identify the exact cause.
For now, you don't need to worry if headaches and nosebleeds occur temporarily and don't recur or get worse and nausea gradually subsides. If the nosebleeds recur, try to do the initial treatment by trying to squeeze both nostrils for about 10-15 minutes, with the body upright or leaning forward. Give a cold compress around the nose. If it's still bleeding, repress it. Rest at home, avoid strenuous activities and stress, consumption of nutritious foods, meet the needs of body fluids and consume pain relievers to help relieve headaches.
If symptoms of nausea, vomiting, nosebleeds and headaches recur and get worse, don't hesitate to consult the nearest doctor to get treatment immediately.
Thus the information that I can convey, hopefully it helps
