Blood Spots Appear On The Bandage After Pregnancy Surgery?
Good afternoon… I’m icha, right thursday, i had surgery on pregnancy. outside the womb and the stitches are standing (vertical) which i want to ask is it dangerous if there is blood on the bandage… what should i do even though the schedule for the control is still monday tomorrow…thank you
Good morning Icha, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. Spots of blood on the bandage after any surgery can be a sign that your wound isn't dry yet. This is what your doctor will look at during your check-up to determine if your wound still needs a bandage or not. You don't have to worry about this, especially if the shape is still spotty.
However, if the spots make your bandage wet with blood and make your blood flow out, immediately check your condition with the nearest emergency room doctor or your obstetrician even though it is not scheduled to see if there may be a loose stitch.
Meanwhile, to help recovery, you should avoid excessive activity, avoid lifting things, and increase the consumption of protein-rich foods such as eggs, milk, tempeh, tofu, chicken and fish. Make sure your bandage doesn't get wet. Hope you recover soon.
So, hopefully useful.
