blood sugar when I was 103 (mg / dl) u0026amp; included in the medium category. while the good category u0026lt; 90. medium category 90-199. u0026amp; bad u0026gt; 200. My QUESTION means if my blood sugar is 103 mg / dl it’s close to low blood sugar or high blood sugar, right? please for the info, thank you
The criteria for examining blood sugar according to the diabetes association in Indonesia to diagnose diabetes are:
Normal fasting blood sugar> 126 mg%
Blood sugar when> 200 mg%
Blood sugar 2 hours after oral glucose test 75 mg> 200 mg%
have symptoms of diabetes or hyperglycemia, namely frequent urination, frequent thirst and frequent hunger.
If you find that your blood sugar is in these criteria then you are just known as diabetes or diabetes sufferer.
The blood sugar you check according to the criteria is still classified as normal (not high and not low). So for now you don't have to worry. You need to do routine checks once a year to check your sugar levels or if you have complaints of hyperglycemia above.
According to some guidelines, the criteria for normal blood sugar are:
Fasting blood sugar <= 100 mg%
Blood sugar 2 hours after oral glucose test 100-140 mg%
With this result, it certainly does not mean that you can be free, but still maintain your healthy lifestyle so you don't suffer from diabetes.
I hope this helps.
